Job description

Join Tree of Hope as a volunteer Trustee and help us to get children and young people the operations, equipment and therapies they need to live their lives fully. When parents are given the devastating news that their ill or disabled child needs an operation or a piece of equipment but the health service cannot fund it they turn to Tree of Hope to help them to fundraise to get what their child needs. Join us to help develop our amazing charity- your role would be to help dvelop our stratgy, to attend Board meetings to review and question our progress towards this strategy and to support the CEO and the staff team in the work they do.

The Board meet 4 times a year for around 2 hours and each Trustee sits on a sub committee which meets 3 to 4 times a year also for around 2 hours. 

We are specifically looking for Trustees with the following skills:

  • Health and Social Care/Medical experience.
  • Fundraising and commercial acumen.
  • Legal background and experience.

To meet current vacancies on the Board.
