Senior Quality Advisor - Mental Health and Learning Disabilities

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)

Location: Home Based (travel to Herts, Beds, Milton Keynes areas required)

Contract type: Permanent – Full Time (part-time, job share and flexible working considered)

This role is part of a high impact team who audit, advise and coach, frontline managers and services, to improve the quality of services provided to people with mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.

Health and social care expertise is critical to the role and we will fully support you to actively develop your expertise in and beyond your role. As part of a national team, you will be the go-to advisor for health and social care quality and support a portfolio of services to achieve positive CQC inspection outcomes and to continually improve how they support people.

Whilst currently reduced significantly by Covid-19 restrictions, the role ordinarily includes regular audit visits to services, some of which may require long commutes and / or an overnight stay. You will sometimes need to be flexible with the hours you are able to work, but you will benefit from flexibility to suit you too.

As part of a small and dedicated team, you’ll have the support and encouragement you need in your role, right from the outset.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in multi-site, multi-agency health and social care settings as a nurse or similar registered professional (e.g. RNLD, RMN, OT, SLT, or similar) to support people with mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.

They will be independent, but an effective team player, with good communication skills, a positive outlook and they will be adaptable and resilient to the challenges of the sector.
