UK Youth are currently looking for a dynamic and talented Research and Learning Manager to join our Research and Performance team to lead on the management and co-ordination of our evaluation and learning activity.
The new Research and Learning Manager will support the team with developing robust and insightful evaluation and research. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Research, this role will support the department to shift the organisation’s approach to using evidence and learning to drive impact. This role will work closely with the Data Manager, as well as Research and Data Officers, to develop and deliver top-class evaluations against our programmes, cutting edge research outputs and drive innovation in our approaches and research activities.
To thrive in this role, you need a strong background in qualitative and quantitative research methods, and have excellent communication skills. We’re looking for an experienced and creative researcher with an open mind to developing new processes, methodologies and approaches to lift our current research and evaluation outputs to a place that matches our ambition. We’re particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in theory of change development.
We are keen to support our staff to work as flexibly as possible. Where our roles are offered on a flexible basis, staff can be based anywhere in the UK, but must be willing to travel occasionally to either our London or Avon Tyrrell office locations or external meetings as required. The regularity of this will be arranged with the line manager.
