Major Giving Executive

Understanding Recruitment is excited to be supporting a frontline healthcare charity in their search for a Major Giving Executive maternity cover!

Having performed exceptionally well throughout Covid-19 this charity has seen great funding stability and exciting new partnerships with various trusts and foundations. As Major Giving Executive, you will get to create and deliver exciting proposals for a variety of different funding applications.  

Working closely with the Head of Major Giving you will develop new and build upon existing relationships with a range of funders. Primarily focusing on securing five-figure plus donations, you will use your excellent writing and communication skills to form meaningful multi-year relationships.

This is the perfect role for a junior trust fundraiser looking to take a step up and work with a well-known and much-needed charity!

To be successful as the Senior Major Donor Officer, you will have:

• Proven experience within either trusts, foundations, or institutional fundraising
• Evidence of securing gifts within the four or five figure range
• Excellent stewardship and communication skills 
• Passionate about working collaboratively

Salary: £25,600 - £28,600

Location: Kings Cross, London but initially home-based
