Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.

The award-winning Corporate Partnerships team at Unicef UK secures and manages long term, multi-million-pound partnerships with major UK companies.  Our vision is to be the partner of choice for the UK’s leading companies, working hand in hand to put children and their futures at the heart of business, which is essential now more than ever. Never have we seen such a response and show of solidarity from our supporters to Unicef’s largest ever fundraising appeal to tackle the biggest health emergency in living memory.

To support our ambitious plans for 2021, we are recruiting for a Corporate Partnerships Team Administrator  to provide an essential foundation of support to the efficient running of the Corporate Partnerships team, so that we can achieve our team priorities more effectively.

You will:

  • provide administrative support to the team, current partnerships, prospects, and fundraising activities.
  • Lead on the developing and maintaining appropriate systems processes for the corporate team to ensure effective ways of working.
  • Develop expertise in SRM and acting as the touchpoint to Finance and Donations teams for finance related requests.

To succeed in this role, you will:

  • have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • be able to manage conflicting priorities effectively and accurately, grasping detail and complexity
  • be highly organised and able to use initiative as required to support a busy, high pressure team
  • be able to pick up new ideas and learn quickly
  • have a solution-focused and positive approach

Closing date: 5pm, Tuesday 1 December 2020

Interview date: Thursday, 10 and Monday, 14 December 2020

We are normally based on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, East London but while our office is closed, this role will work from home or from wherever makes you happy.

We particularly welcome applications from LGBTQ+ candidates, candidates with disabilities, and from men, because we would like to increase the representation of these groups at this level at Unicef UK. We want to do this because we know greater diversity will lead to even greater results for children.

Unicef UK promotes equality, diversity and inclusion in our workplace. We make employment decisions by matching business needs with skills and experience of candidates, irrespective of age, disability (including hidden disabilities), gender, gender identity or gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.

We are happy to talk about flexible working, personal growth, and to promote a workplace where you can be yourself and achieve success based only on your merit.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a criminal records check. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offences.

We only accept online applications as this saves us money, making more funds available for us to help ensure children’s rights.

If you require support in completing the online form or an application form in an alternative format, please contact Supporter Care during office hours.

If you do not hear from us within 14 days of the closing date, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note that we only provide feedback to shortlisted candidates.
