The Direct Marketing team recruits and develops support for Unicef’s work from individual
members of the public. We do this using a wide range of media including direct dialogue, print,
DRTV, Outdoor, Radio and digital. We’re a busy, friendly and supportive team where attention
to detail and teamwork deliver award winning results. We are seeking to recruit a Direct
Marketing Manager to provide cover while the current post holder undertakes a temporary
assignment on another project.
As Direct Marketing Manager (Retention), you will play an important role in the work of the
Retention team and wider Direct marketing team, helping us achieve our ambitious goals. You
will have the opportunity to build on strategies in relation to bank activity for our retention
programme and you will line manage members of the team.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have experience of managing direct marketing based
fundraising campaigns across a range of different media and developing and implementing
complex direct marketing programmes. We are looking for excellent communication skills so
that you can build strong relationships with colleagues, agencies and suppliers. You will be
skilled at analysing direct marketing results, using these to develop direct marketing strategy,
plans and budgets.
