We are now looking for a Communications Manager to join us on a 12 month fixed-term contract.

The Role

As the Communications Manager, you will focus on developing and delivering our communications strategy, increasing brand recognition and raising our profile.

You will oversee all communications, both internal and external, producing an array of marketing materials, fundraising collateral and publications.

Your role will also involve:

- Raising our profile within the international development sector and across the UK and Wales
- Approving content for all social channels
- Overseeing website content, ensuring that all content is on brand
- Implementing a new internal communications plan
- Sourcing, writing, commissioning and editing case studies and leadership staff blogs
- Producing monthly video updates for all staff

About You

To join us as a Communications Manager, you will need:

- Strong experience of managing social media and website content
- The proven ability to shape and deliver a communications strategy in an ambitious organisation
- The proven ability to develop relationships with journalists and secure media coverage
- The ability to provide effective leadership, advice and guidance to all levels of staff
- Enthusiasm to support our income-generating strategies and an entrepreneurial, go-getting mindset

Ideally, you will have knowledge and an understanding of international development, but this is not essential. Knowledge of the communications and political context of Wales would also be beneficial.
