Global and Intercultural Ministries is a key programme that gives expression to the URC’s mission and faith. In this role and as part of the Mission Team, you will lead this area of work, enabling the church to build and deepen global partnerships, to find ways to be a multicultural church committed to an intercultural habit, and to connect the local and the global in new and creative ways.
You will have demonstrable capacity for international and intercultural working, with experience of church in other contexts. You will be able to think strategically and theologically about mission, racial justice and multicultural issues. You will be an excellent communicator and team player, with good organisational skills. Experience of policy development and line management would be a distinct advantage.
