The corporate partnerships team is in an exciting stage of growth. This role will be key to delivering ambitious targets, shaping and implementing the new business strategy to secure new long term mid-high value corporate partnerships - both commercial and strategic. This role will take the lead on strategy development and the delivery of prospect research. 

We are seeking an energetic, passionate and proactive corporate partnerships expert who is an excellent relationship manager, able to lead the stewardship of mid value partnerships. The ability to communicate complex messages to a wide ranging audience and to create, and deliver, high quality, innovate proposals are essential for success in this role. 

The successful postholder will be an integral member of the Funding and Communications team at a time of increased investment to deliver our ambitious next steps for the organisation’s growth.

Person Specification  

Essential

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent. 

  • Passion for education and international development. 

  • At least 4 years experience in partnership fundraising, or other relevant fundraising experience. 

  • Demonstrable experience of corporate prospecting and building a pipeline from its infancy. 

  • Experience identifying and securing partnerships of 5 and 6 figure value. 

  • Strong writing skills for fundraising proposals, strategic partnerships, and the ability to build multi-year charity partnership applications. 

  • A strong relationship manager with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, evidenced by successful relationships with donors and senior stakeholders within partnerships.

  • Confident self-starter who is able to work alongside our Senior Leadership Team to research and identify key opportunities and drive forward the approach, owning some big wins as you go.

  • Entrepreneurial fundraiser looking for an exciting new challenge. This role presents the opportunity to grow with us and will offer huge developmental scope.

  • Determined, persuasive ambitious, flexible and a proactive team player which means you commit and deliver for the cause.

Desirable

  • Experience of senior stakeholder management

  • Experience of managing and developing staff. 

  • Experience working for an international development NGO.
