If you’re an experienced alumni relations or engagement professional, excited by the power of education and with a self-starting mindset, these new roles at the University of Bristol could be the ideal next step in your career.
In summer 2020, the Schools of Accounting and Finance, Economics, and Management will launch at the University, following the division of the current School of Economics, Finance and Management. We are looking for talented Alumni Engagement Managers to support each of the Schools in their ambitious expansion and development plans, significantly increasing engagement with the School’s alumni in order to build the University’s global profile and reputation, boost applications and enhance student and graduate employability.
You will join a dynamic, highly respected and growing Development and Alumni Relations (DARO) team, and you will create and manage a tailored, School-specific programme to engage and inspire the University’s global alumni community. You will work closely with a network of stakeholders across the School and DARO to establish and prioritise objectives, and conduct market insight to develop an engaging programme, evaluating on a rolling basis to measure impact and evolve.
You will be an effective relationship manager, with significant experience in higher education or leading national organisations. A highly effective influencer, you will work with key stakeholders to achieve buy-in and increase the scope and impact of School alumni engagement. You will be adaptable and confident taking initiative, able to interpret and communicate information across different channels and to different audiences. Experience planning events, marketing and communications to underpin the delivery of a programme, project or scheme would be a distinct advantage.
You will join DARO and the University at a really exciting time, as we look forward to the establishment of the Schools of Economics, Accounting and Finance and Management, and deepen relationships with alumni as key stakeholders in our development.
Successful applicants will be assigned to one of the three Schools on appointment.
For informal enquiries please contact Joanna Sochacka, Head of Engagement.
The closing date for applications is 11.59pm on Sunday 5th April 2020 and interviews will take place on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st April 2020.
