The University of East London Students' Union is a membership organisation set up to ensure students are empowered to have a full university experience. We offer our members opportunities to meet new people, explore interests and establish mechanisms to improve their course and University.
We have made great progress on our communications in recent years and we need to continue this. The marketing and communications manager will be responsible for the operational aspects of our marketing and communications work, seeking to publicise our activities and services and to increase engagement and participation in those activities and services. Although we generate some revenue through advertising (online and on campus), the manager will help to increase our revenue through advertising, media sales, experiences and other new markets.
You will be leading an expanded team which now includes a graphic designer and a social media coordinator. You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in marketing, communications or similar and have proven success in engaging members/customers from working in a similar role elsewhere.
