Job description

The University of East London Students' Union is a membership organisation set up to ensure students are empowered to have a full university experience. We offer our members opportunities to meet new people, explore interests and establish mechanisms to improve their course and University.

The student groups manager is a restructured role. The manager will be responsible for the development of our student groups which support community-building and social cohesion in the University. This means supporting the establishment of student-led activities, ensuring opportunities for personal development are maximised within those activities, and embedding a culture which encourages student leadership of projects.

You will be educated to degree level and will have experience in a similar role. We are about participation in activities and supporting people who want to lead their own activities, so this experience does not need to have been in a students’ union.
