At the University, Advancement is set to grow and develop over the coming years and will have an increasingly important role in helping the University achieve its global objectives and mobilising our 117,000+ alumni to help us do this.
We are looking to enrich our team with a highly organised, proactive individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a track record of providing excellent supporter/customer care. They will undertake the role of Advancement Services Co-ordinator and will primarily provide excellent customer service in responding to our alumni enquiries and potential donors as well as supporting prospect research activity by providing biographical information to University colleagues. They will assist with the administration and maintenance of our alumni database by ensuring our records are up to date.
You will be customer focused, have data entry experience and excellent IT skills. Accuracy is extremely important in this role and attention to detail is paramount. You must be able to multi-task and manage a varied workload. You need to be interested in higher education and the work of the University of Surrey and be able to develop relationships and manage communication with a wide range of internal and external audiences.
