Unseen is working towards a world without slavery. We provide safe houses and support in the community for survivors of trafficking and modern slavery. We also run the Modern Slavery and Exploitation Helpline and work with individuals, communities, business, governments, other charities and statutory agencies to stamp out slavery for good.
We are recruiting a Head of Fundraising who will manage Unseen’s Fundraising team to deliver the 2021 fundraising plan in line with Unseen’s charitable mission and vision. Building on the team’s previous success, they will be expected to manage the fundraising team as they deliver across a diverse range of income streams and also support the Senior Leadership team with the creation and implementation of a 2022-2027 fundraising strategy.
This is a full-time post, working 40 hours per week during an exciting period of growth and change for Unseen. The post may initially report to the CEO, and then to a Director or Assistant Director in line with the organisation’s restructure. There is opportunity with this role to develop both established, results-driven fundraising team members as well as supporting new members of the team. The postholder will be expected to work collaboratively across the organisation to meet and, where possible, exceed challenging income generation targets.
Experience of managing a team to deliver against fundraising targets, monitoring and evaluating outputs and working across a range of fundraising areas are essential. The successful candidate will be passionate about Unseen’s work and able to articulate its values with confidence and professionalism to stakeholders and funders. Full and on-going training and supervision is provided.
We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible (subject to satisfactory references and completion of induction).
