This impactful organisation is seeking a People Systems Implementation Manager. This contracted role involves a 6/9 months project to upgrade HR systems, aiming to streamline operations and integration across multiple international jurisdictions. This goal of this role aims to reduce administrative burdens, costs, and errors while improving processes, data consistency, and decision-making. This initiative is crucial for modernising the NGO's people management tools across the international organisation by integrating various systems such as ATS, HRIS, Payroll, LMS, staff survey, and finance for more efficient operations.
The role is based in London and will require presence in the London Office 1/2 days a week. The main deliverables are:
- Come in and quickly make the case for change
- Develop and implement HRIT road-map for strategic goals. The HRIT systems shortlisted to be implemented are Personio, HiBob and HR Bamboo. Consulting with the HR D and deciding which HR system fits the international organisation's needs best will be key to the role
- Manage planning, execution, and delivery of HRIT activities across multiple countries
- Create business case for system improvement.
- Lead selection, implementation, and optimisation of HR technology.
- Establish HRIT working group for systems improvement.
- Provide guidance and training for sustainable HRIT capability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance user experience and streamline processes.
The Ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in communicating and influencing in a global organisations
- Demonstrated Programme Management expertise, ideally in HR processes or technology-driven transformations, with transferable skills across sectors.
- Proficient in standard Project Management tools like MS Project, SharePoint, and Visio for efficient project execution.
- Mastery of various project management frameworks for versatility in managing diverse projects.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for articulating technical information persuasively and fostering understanding.

This impactful NGO is seeking a Global Benefits Manager. The contract involves a 6-month HR systems improvement project to transform global benefits across all geographical locations. The objective is to establish a clear, fair, and transparent approach to managing global benefits, relocation, and pay, aligned with aspirations for decolonisation, anti-racism, and feminism in staff engagement. The project aims to enhance equity among local and international staff across locations, implementing clear and consistent processes, efficient services, and tailored benefits to meet diverse market and location needs.
The role is based in London and will require presence in the London Office 1/2 days a week. The main deliverables are:
- The primary objective of this role will be to restructure and align the salaries, benefits, and full employment packages of all employees of varying seniority across the entire NGO
- There are approximately 300 employees within NGO
- The NGO have offices in London, Brussels, Mexico City, Nairobi, Delhi, Kuala Lumpur, Tunis, Fiji, Trinidad and Tobago as well as extra employees who are based in Colombia and Sweden.
- These countries will be the main jurisdictions that will be needed to taken into consideration when harmonising and aligning employment packages
- The key areas that will need to be addressed are NGO's global principals (for example: number of annual leave days)
- Their key task would be to investigate how public holidays already differ across the many different jurisdictions the NGOs employees are based in and, thus, how would this be affect the number of annual leave days included in their employment package to ensure the NGO's global principals and benefits are allocated to their international teams in the most equitable way possible on a local basis
- There will also be a responsibility to ensure all factors are taken into consideration when an IPPF employee is moving from one jurisdiction to another (such as payment structure, pension, holiday and expenses)
- As a result of the working with international teams and jurisdictions, experience of working for an international organisation and internationally is essential
- Develop a process for regular salary reviews, aligning with local markets, maintaining consistency across grades, and adapting to changes in inflation and cost of living.
- Evaluate local and global health insurance to ensure desired coverage, equity across locations, and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze relocation packages to ensure suitability for local needs, fairness across regions, and transparency in calculation.
- Review global and local pension provision to optimize investments, minimize management costs, ensure equitable contributions, and maximize tax efficiency.
- Coordinate a review of HR handbooks and policies, establishing ongoing review and approval mechanisms.
- Implementation: Develop a communication and engagement plan for changes, ensuring integration into FocalPoint and other communication channels

- Experience in working in international organisations or working internationally is essential
- Strong understanding of global HR and bench marking on an international scale

The role includes course and funding administration, communication with students and teaching staff, registration with external bodies, and maintenance of student records.

FareShare Midlands is the region’s largest food redistribution charity, fighting food poverty and hunger by tackling waste. We source good quality food that is surplus to requirements from the food industry. An army of volunteers help redistribute this food to over 500 frontline charities and community groups such as school breakfast clubs, community centres and organisations supporting those who are homeless, unemployed, socially isolated and recovering from addiction. These organisations provide meals and food parcels to over 67,000 vulnerable people every week. We also support people through our Employability programmes, enabling them to learn skills and find rewarding work – some for the first time.
Hunger is a growing issue in the UK and while there is surplus food that is otherwise going to waste, we believe that this food should be used to feed people first.
The Role
This role will work closely with the Volunteer Manager to coordinate and administrate the daily running of our volunteer programme in the Nottingham area. You will be responsible for the timely collection, processing and updating of all volunteer data for the volunteer teams in your area.
You will also ensure that compliance data such as food hygiene certificates, driving licence checks etc. are completed and recorded within expected timeframes.
The role will involve working closely with the operations teams to ensure that volunteer inductions are completed and site rotas are maintained.
Key duties and responsibilities:
1. Volunteer Administration
· Ensure that all new applications are responded to and processed in a timely and professional manner
· Ensure that all induction paperwork is completed and recorded prior the volunteer starting
· Carry out on site inductions for new volunteers
· Ensure that all volunteer records including contact details are maintained and up to date
2. Volunteer Compliance and Training
· Take appropriate volunteer references within agreed timescales
· Administrate and monitor food hygiene online training for all volunteers
· Ensure that drivers licence checks are completed and recorded
· Support volunteers to get the most out of the training that is available to them
· Coordinate other compliance and training programmes as required
3. Volunteer Systems Management
· Ensure that the National Volunteer Management System is up to date at all times
· Ensure that reporting data for FareShare UK is available as required
· Maintain the active volunteer list for each depot in your area
4. Operational Support
· Support the development and maintenance of depot volunteer rotas
· Liaise with volunteers for the operational team as required

Swindon’s welcome, accessible space in the heart of the town is looking for two Hub Coordinators - to help us grow, build and do more: by and with the community.
You’ll be working with a dynamic group of volunteers and visitors, helping to keep the Hub running day-to-day, as well as taking on a special focus of your own.
One special focus will be reaching out and drawing in: connecting with communities, groups and people around Swindon who are not using the Hub; building relationships, working in partnership and organising events and activities to see that the Hub is as inclusive and diverse as it can be.
