UP - Unlocking Potential’s mission is to work within London communities to transform the life changes of children and young people who have social, emotional and mental health needs.
We are a medium sized, growing charity with around 50 members of staff, ambitious and financially robust. The successful candidate will drive and implement operationally excellent HR services across the organisation, which includes supporting an independent school, schools programme and young adults programme. Leading an HR team, you will be supporting employees, senior management and Trustees.
Purpose of role
As the Head of HR for Unlocking Potential you will work closely with the CEO and Finance & Operations Director to develop and establish HR strategy for the charity to ensure that employees of the Charity provide a professional and supportive service for the benefit of the children and young people who access our services. You will lead the HR strategy ensuring all employees are aware of policy, procedure and expectations, whilst promoting an encouraging, inclusive culture within the charity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise with all levels of the charity.
- Qualifications: CIPD qualified (or equivalent)
- Significant experience of working as a Head of HR/Generalist HR Manager, preferably in a stand-alone organisations
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of current HR policy and best practice.
