Job description

This role is specifically designed to provide support for safeguarding within all ministry areas within Urban Saints (Groups, Camps and Westbrook). You will be responsible for managing and organising current safeguarding cases. You will identify liabilities and make recommendations to minimise risk in relation to safeguarding across the organisation. This role will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check with barred list. You will work in close partnership with the Designated Safeguarding Lead, who holds strategic and overall responsibility for safeguarding at Urban Saints. 


We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating and supporting safe spaces for young people. A successful candidate will be committed to implementing processes and systems which ensure safeguarding continues to be embedded throughout Urban Saints. 

Salary Range: Up to £30,000 p/a (£16,000 pro-rata) depending on experience
Hours: Part-time (20 hours a week)
Contract: Permanent, starting as soon as possible
Location: Home-based (with some travel involved)
Responsible to: Designated Safeguarding Lead
