Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer as a member of our Leadership Team (LT), you will be responsible for business development and supporting organisational growth. As part of this role you will be accountable for creating greater efficiencies as part of our internal operations/practices and play a key role in driving new and existing business initiatives aligned to the VAC strategic priorities to fulfil our vision and mission including overseeing the development of CALIPSO.

Working with the wider team, your role will be responsible for leading on key strategic developments including the VCSE facing Business Support Hub and increasing collaborative working opportunities for VAC with the VCSE sector and with wider stakeholders through CALIPSO.  Your role will require bid writing, financial modelling and building strong stakeholder relationships as well as responsibility for monitoring, evaluation and reporting on development opportunities reporting to the VAC Board of Trustees, Sub-Committee meetings and external stakeholders.

You will collaborate closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors to maximise business growth and delivery, identifying opportunities and building multi sector partnerships.  You will work closely with the Partnerships & Programmes Manager and Membership Services and Communications Manager to ensure all aspects of delivery and development remain linked to the VAC Vision, Mission and Strategy.
