Job description

A Charity based in Greater London is seeking a Payroll Manager that can start on a permanent basis. The postholder will be overseeing a large team and co-ordinating a monthly payroll for over 10,000 employees. With a huge sense of togetherness and importance in improving the wellbeing of local communities, they are seeking a candidate who has expressed successful team management and effective relationship-building across an organisation.


Job role entails:

  • Supervising work of payroll team
  • Running monthly payrolls of high volume of employees
  • Co-ordinating quarterly bonuses
  • Liaising with HMRC and auditors
  • Checking annual pay review
  • Calculating wage increments and overtime payments
  • Dealing with core salary approvals
  • Signing off monthly release of payslips


The successful candidate MUST:

  • Have strong communication and management skills
  • Have experience running and coordinating payroll for high volume of employees
