We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking and experienced administrative professional to provide administrate support for the successful running of the Living Well with Arthritis service that is being delivered across England.
Living Well with Arthritis provides peer support and information services to help people better understand their condition, and how to manage it, as well to help reduce isolation. The service allows people to make an informed decision about their healthcare. It is primarily delivered through our local network of service coordinators and volunteers.
About the role
The Services Administrator will carry out a range of administrative duties. Central responsibilities include the processing of referrals made to the service, making appropriate bookings, maintaining up-to-date electronic records and carrying out day-to-day administration.
You will need to work closely and effectively with other members of the admin team to develop and adapt administrative systems to meet the needs of colleagues for service delivery. Any reasonable duties may also need to be undertaken from time to time to support with service delivery.
Previous experience in an administrative role is essential. You must be highly organised, have a good telephone manner and have the ability to adapt your communication style according to the audience.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent time management and the ability to balance competing deadlines. The role will involve working effectively as part of a dynamic team and you will ideally be an innovative individual who is open to implementing novel processes and systems.
You will also need knowledge of good practice around safeguarding, knowing when to escalate issues and Data Protection
