Job description

Vibrance has an exciting opportunity available for you to join our team as a Financial Internal Auditor based in Bethnal Green, London. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis working 35 hours per week (part time/flexible working arrangements available) and in return, you will receive an attractive salary ranging from £29,297-£31,519 per annum

About our Financial Internal Auditor role:

You will report directly to the Director of Finance and will support the organisation to ensure that its risk management, governance and internal control processes are operating effectively. This will include providing support to our service managers, undertaking local audits, supporting the development of policies & procedures and working in partnership with our external auditors.

You will maintain the continual development of a system that assesses on behalf of the Audit & Finance Committee corporate governance issues, such as control; and risk exposure. And you will ensure that the function supports organisational performance management and its quality systems as well as according with Legislation and industry codes of best practice. 

You will work in conjunction with the Quality Assurance Department to support the system of continuous improvement and implementation of Vibrance’s policies & procedures. You will work in partnership with the Organisations external financial auditors to ensure that the organisation meets its obligations in regards to the SORP and to support the annual auditing process.

Skills and experience required by our Financial Internal Auditor:

- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of financial systems including payroll
- Ideally a commitment or understanding of working within the not-for-profit sector
