Victim Support (VS) is an independent charity for people affected by crime in England and Wales. We work towards a world where people affected by crime or traumatic events get the support they need and respect they deserve.
The role will involve providing administrative support to the Victim Service's teams and those designated by the line manager in accordance with Victim Support's National standards and local policies and procedures. Main duties will include; Liaising with the police, primarily to gather further information, Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail appropriately including sending out security items, Dealing with telephone, email and general enquiries appropriately, Providing ongoing support and guidance to Administration Apprentices and providing general administrative support within Victim Services.
To be successful in this role you will have general administration experience, understanding and knowledge of the requirement for confidentiality and a willingness to learn about the General data Protection Regulations (GDPR). You will be able to work both independently and as part of a team. You will work in an organised and methodical manner and have good IT skills including Word, Excel, databases, internet and Email.
