Victim Support is looking for a Domestic Abuse Caseworker- Children & Young People (known internally as a Children & Young People Domestic Abuse Practitioner- CYP DA Practitioner) to be based in Bedworth, Warwickshire.

We are looking for a Children and Young People (CYP) DA practitioner to join our team providing high quality, end-to-end support to children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse across Warwickshire. This post is fixed term until the end of March 2023.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include delivering support to young victims of crime, using appropriate service guidance and policy framework, both on a 1:1 basis and through the delivery of small group work sessions. You will develop and deliver innovative interventions to address the needs of children and young people, involving them in service design, delivery and evaluation. The role will also require you to develop good working relationships with partner agencies.
You must have in depth knowledge, understanding and awareness of the current issues for children and young people experiencing crime, domestic abuse and relationship abuse. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering services for children and young people and successful youth engagement in a comparable role within a service-driven organisation, including knowledge of safeguarding issues relating to young people.
These post will be based at our Bedworth Office, although may begin by working from home. Whilst you will primarily cover that area of the county, there will be an expectation for you to be mobile, willing and able to support the delivery of service across Warwickshire.
