New Era (Victim Support) is looking for an experienced 'Education, Training and Awareness Manager'. Currently the role will be home based however with the lifting of covid-19 restrictions the role would be based at either our Hanley or Stafford office with travel to both offices and around Stoke-on-Trent or Staffordshire essential for the role.

Victim Support (VS) is an independent charity for people affected by crime in England and Wales. We work towards a world where people affected by crime or traumatic events get the support they need and respect they deserve.

New Era is the new holistic Domestic Abuse service operating across Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent, offering free and confidential support for victims, perpetrators and their families affected by domestic abuse.

This role will develop and deliver the key functions within New Era domestic abuse service for internal and external training, delivery of high quality group work, peer support and volunteering. You will also oversee the role of Communications Officer to ensure our external communications and campaigns consistently drive our ambition of ending domestic abuse. To provide excellent people management through recruitment, induction, performance management, and professional development of your team.

The successful candidate will manage the training, communications and development team to develop and delivery high quality delivery of the New Era training framework and annual activities for both internal and external audiences. You will work closely with the Head of Service, working in an organised manner, to ensure the key deliverables from our contract for service across Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent.
