Job description

Victim Support is looking for an IDVA, delivering high quality support to victims of domestic abuse within a multi agency framework based in Blackpool.

Victim Support (VS) is an independent charity for people affected by crime in England and Wales. We work towards a world where people affected by crime or traumatic events get the support they need and respect they deserve.

The main purpose of the role is to provide support to high risk victims of domestic abuse working as part of a busy team based in Blackpool. To work within LVS policies and procedures and the Lancashire MARAC framework to ensure the safety of victims and their families.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of supporting victims of domestic abuse or other vulnerable people, have appropriate IT skills, interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a busy, supportive team to deliver all aspects of support to victims and their families. Ideally you would have an accredited IDVA qualification if not willingness to work towards.
