Victim Support is looking for a full time Independent Domestic Violence Advocate to be based at Bethal Green police station (Fixed term 12 months).
Victim Support (VS) is an independent charity for people affected by crime in England and Wales. We work towards a world where people affected by crime or traumatic events get the support they need and respect they deserve.
To be successful in this role you will ideally hold a SafeLives (CAADA) accreditation or commensurate experience (normally at least 1 year of direct casework experience supporting high and very high risk victims of domestic abuse).
You will have relationship management skills and the confidence and ability to present and educate service users and agency partners on the realities and impacts of domestic abuse in a variety of settings.
