Norfolk and Suffolk Victim Care is looking for a service delivery assistant to be based in the Norfolk and Suffolk Victim Care service

Victim Support (VS) is an independent charity for people affected by crime in England and Wales. We work towards a world where people affected by crime or traumatic events get the support they need and respect they deserve.

The main purpose of the role is to provide a high quality and responsive administrative function for our Norfolk and Suffolk Victim Care service, acting as the first point of contact for general enquiries into the service and supporting the wider team and service with administrative duties. You will also assist the management team in ensuring all referrals into the service are triaged and processed in line with service requirements.

To be successful in this post you will have experience of working in a victim or client focused environment and will need to possess excellent communication, organisational and IT skills and be able to deal sensitively and effectively with a wide range of audiences including clients of the service, partner agencies and colleagues. You will have an understanding of the issues surrounding data protection, confidentiality and information sharing and you will be able to work to agreed processes and practices in an efficient and timely manner. You will also have experience of working within a statutory, voluntary or similar organisation.

This post is subject to satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS check).

Victim Support offers competitive rewards and benefits including pension and life assurance, 25 days' annual leave (pro-rata), and the opportunity to play a key role in a national charity providing world-class services to victims and witnesses and being a vital force for change.

Applications should be explicit enough to provide good evidence against the shortlisting criteria.

If you have the drive to make a difference within an organisation which makes a difference we look forward to hearing from you.

Victim Support takes pride in being a diverse organisation, enriched by the participation of all individuals and communities. Diversity matters and we value it.
