Implementing and developing the strategy to secure funding for our life saving work is a vital role and one which requires an experienced and talented individual with a proven track record of fundraising and the vision and passion to build a diversified fundraising practice.
Established in 2002 Maytree is a registered charity providing support, advice and respite for people in suicidal crisis as well as promoting awareness and understanding of suicide prevention.
As the Fundraising Manager you will work with the Director to manage and develop Maytree’s fundraising strategy ensuring our plans for growth and replication, meaning we can help even more people in crisis, come to fruition.
An inspiring leader with the ability to engage and build rapport at all levels you’ll motivate and lead and small team of paid staff and volunteers to meet short and long term financial goals. You’ll identify and develop new income streams, including local businesses, new trusts and foundations, community fundraising events and individual giving as well as nurturing existing funding streams.
You’ll be a reliable self-starter who will enjoy an entrepreneurial role working for a small ground-breaking charity with the freedom and autonomy to establish and develop a professional fundraising practice.
