The Conference of the Religious (CoR) is a membership organisation for Catholic Religious Orders throughout England and Wales, currently based in Ealing. CoR promotes and represents the work, views and aims of those in Catholic Religious life. The organisation is seeking to ensure that its views and work on matters that affect society today are shared both with its membership and the public at large.
To help to achieve these aims we have restructured the communications and office support arrangements and we are now seeking a confident and experienced Administrative Coordinator with a wide range of skills and importantly, a ‘can do’ approach. They will develop and update the office functions making the best use of IT and electronic systems. Comfortable with independent working and taking initiative, they will be required to answer queries from the membership and draft correspondence and replies on behalf of the General Secretary. Updating of the website, use of social media and working closely with the Development Lead, who is responsible for communications, to ensure that all material is current, informative and in line with the aims of CoR. Working with the appropriate external advisors, systems need to be introduced to facilitate electronic banking and other modern methods of office practice. Working knowledge and use of and range of IT and finance procedures is needed.
