The Personal Support Unit (PSU) is an independent charity providing much-needed support to people dealing with the civil and family court process without legal representation. Many of our clients have experience of domestic abuse, and the PSU has received funding for a number of roles that will enable us to enhance the support we can offer them. The Resources Assistant (DA) role is a new 8 month appointment (funded until the end of March 2020) and will be integrated into our Finance & Resources team to support our increase in staff.
We are looking to recruit a post holder based in central London. You will report to the Head of Systems & Information, and will be remotely supporting colleagues across England and Wales with occasional travel when required.
The ideal candidate will have: excellent troubleshooting skills, a high attention for detail, efficient administrative skills (including good IT skills), the ability to co-operate with colleagues in a fast-paced and varied work-place, empathy for our clients, a willingness to learn, and the flexibility to follow directions or take the initiative as needed.
If this sounds like you, we look forward to receiving your application: please send a CV, together with a covering letter clearly explaining how you fulfil the criteria in the job specification and the requirements for the role.
Recruitment will be conducted on a rolling basis.
