Sussex Community Foundation is a local grant maker, supporting grassroots charities across Sussex.
The Foundation raises funds from local people and gives grants to charities and community groups, especially the smallest voluntary sector organisations. Since 2006 the Foundation has awarded £23 million in grants and built an endowment fund of £24 million.
We are looking for a Grants Administrator to join our Grants Team, led by our Head of Grant Programmes.
Your role will be to provide the essential administrative functions that underpin all our grant making services. You will help to arrange and service meetings, act as the first point of contact for our grant applicants, manage our post-award reporting processes and support our grant making operations through our bespoke Salesforce (Customer Relations Management) platform.
A combination of excellent administration skills, attention to detail, an understanding of small community groups and a commitment to providing an excellent service for donors are all essential qualities for this role. It is a busy and varied role and a chance to make a difference to your community.
Normal working hours are 9 am to 5 pm with flexibility to include some evening and weekend working, for which time off in lieu will be granted. This is a full time role within a friendly and supportive team.
