Are you Hackney Foodbank’s first ever Senior Administrator?
Could you ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office and make sure that the administrative requirements of Hackney Foodbank’s internal and external activities are met?
Hackney Foodbank kept the doors open and the food and support flowing for people in crisis or trapped in poverty throughout the pandemic, responding as best we could to a huge uplift in demand for our services. We predict that in the current climate the number of local people needing support will to continue to rise and we are seeking a Senior Administrator to assist the entire team, including working with the management team on policies, communications, operations and service delivery activities as well as being the main point of contact for a number of external providers including our third-party IT support provider.
You will report directly to the CEO and must be confident working under your own initiative with minimal supervision, accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your workload to meet all agreed deadlines. Administrative support will include a wide range of data entry tasks, resource research and procurement, maintenance of policy schedules as well as day to day administrative tasks such as printing, photocopying and stationery ordering. For one third of the role you will provide dedicated administrative project support for the Development Manager ensuring processes are in place and maintained for the collection, storage and analysis of information on services and stakeholders.
If you have significant experience in administration, a proactive approach to work with a ‘can do’ attitude and want to help us achieve a hunger-free Hackney where everyone can afford to eat, then this would be the ideal role for you!
