Job Description

As Trusts and Major Donors Officer, you will provide direct support to the Global Funding Director to secure annual budgets for core and restricted income from global trusts and foundations as well as UK major donors.

You will be responsible for researching potential grant-making organisations that have vision and mission alignment with Viva, preparing grant applications independently and in support of the Director, undertaking prospect research on major donors, and assisting the Director in preparing for, and following up from, meetings with supporters.

In all of these initiatives, you be required to  develop current and new relationships with trusts, foundations and major donors with the overarching objective of maximising Viva’s income, influence and profile.

The role is based in our Oxford, UK office and, although many activities focus primarily on our UK fundraising, there will be support for our fundraising in the US and Hong Kong as well.
