We are looking for an experienced Administrator to join our team.

Contract Period: Permanent
Hours: 37 hrs flexible
Location: Office based / remote working
Responsible to: Director
The role will involve providing administration for Voice4Change England and to be responsible for good administration and office systems, working with the director and other Voice4Change staff in order to set up effective communications and information systems, whilst also co-ordinating the director’s schedule. The position will be suitable for someone who is flexible, reliable, dedicated and interested in contributing to society.
The Administrator role is to provide organisational and administrative support to the director and rest of the Voice4Change team. As an Adminstrator you will;
Be an effective gatekeeper, host and contact person for all enquiries
Manage and co-ordinate all diary and travel commitments
Set up, organise and take minutes at meetings as neccessary, and be responsible for the day to day running of the office by providing admin and other support
Support arrangements for new staff, movers and leavers
Support the payments and procurement processes on behalf of the director
Co-ordinate with project managers to meet the objectives of projects, and ensure production and circulation of reports in a timely manner
- To support trustees in their work for Voice4Change and provide a secretariat service as required
To succeed as an Administrator you will;
Be educated to a minimum of A Level qualifications or equivalent
Have proven administrative/secretarial experience supporting Middle/Senior management level
Be highly proficient and highly creative in MS Desktop packages, MS SharePoint and Outlook 2010/2016 (mail, calendar and databases) Intranet/Web. Windows 2010/2007
Be equipped with first class communications skills both written and verbal with a high level of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality
Have the ability to deal with individuals at all levels of seniority both within Voice4Change and externally, to facilitate the achievement of objectives

As the only national membership organisation dedicated to the BME VCS we speak up to policymakers on the issues that matter to the sector, bring the sector together to share good practice and develop the sector to better meet the needs of communities.
