We are seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to help develop a Volunteer Support programme for the Spinal Injuries Association, acting as a central point of contact and co-ordinating the recruitment, induction, deployment and retention of volunteers across a range of activities.

Location: Milton Keynes
Full Time, 35 Hours Per week)
Contract: Three-Year Contract
Salary: £25,830 per annum plus 28 days leave (excluding Bank Holidays) and access to group Life Assurance and pension scheme.
The Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) is a leading national organisation supporting individuals who sustain damage to the spinal cord resulting in paralysis.
You will be responsible for providing information on volunteering within the Spinal Injuries Association and will establish policies, procedures and resources that help underpin support provided to those volunteering with the organisation.
A confident, innovative self-starter, you will have the ability to work using your own initiative with minimal supervision as well as working as part of a team. With experience of engaging and working effectively with volunteers, you will be proactive and well organised and have the ability to grasp and resolve complex issues as appropriate. With strong administration skills, you will have proven experience of setting up, maintaining and managing effective administrative systems and processes, and will have some experience of working with databases for record keeping purposes. This is a varied and exciting position and is a great opportunity to shape the role.
