A Children's Charity based in Central London is looking for support for a 6 week period as a Volunteer Coordinator. The Children's Charity provides equipment, support and life skills to disabled children on a national basis.
The role of to the Volunteer Coordinator is to work in an established team planning, managing and coordinating Volunteer programmes. The opportunity is based in the Head Office in London but will focus on the regional Birmingham area ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to when induction and training programmes begin. The Volunteer Coordinator will provide excellent customer service and support to existing volunteers to improve retention.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in either volunteer coordination or management and will be happy to travel very occasionally to the Birmingham area. Strong administration, attention to detail and experience of supporting volunteers regionally is essential. The opportunity will commence on the 30th January for a 6 week period.
