We’re looking for a dynamic Workforce Development Coordinator to lead, manage and develop our incredible sports coaches, volunteers and tutors. You’ll be managing everything from recruitment through to personal and professional development.
You’ll use your people skills to work closely with partners to deliver expert-led training courses, making their activities more inclusive for disabled people. Highly organised and with an eye for detail, you’ll liaise with each partner to make sure we meet their needs.
You’ll also manage Inclusive Activity Leaders – a truly life-changing programme created in partnership with Nike that trains disabled people to become fully qualified sports coaches and enjoy new careers.

As an Operations and Office Assistant at Back Up, your primary objective is to provide comprehensive operational support and fostering an efficient office environment. Live out your Christian faith in a fun job, surrounded by excellent kind volunteers and straight talking adults with learning disabilities in a beautiful farm setting near Winchester. If you love cooking, people and thinking on your feet, then this is the management job for you. Boaz is a small independent charity that over 100 people a week call their "workplace". Four days a week around 30 people come to the farm to "work and learn together" doing a whole range of horticulture and other jobs such as cooking, craft, animal care and woodwork. As Deputy Manager you will help keep the fun levels high, the stress levels low, and people working harmoniously together. Four days each week you'll lead on cooking a simple vegetarian meal for everyone on site, plus be involved in the general day to day management of the charity. But don't take my word for it, swing by for a coffee and a walk around to get a feel for things BEFORE you apply. Based in a converted cow barn this is a MARMITE job, and we all know that people either love or don't love that spread.
It's a small team, only two other full time staff members working alongside you, but over 50 volunteers coming and going each week and over 30 adults with learning disabilities who spend half days or several days a week working at the project. Each day starts with some "listening and prayer time" where people are encouraged to share and receive prayer if they request it. Then some scripture is shared followed by remembering everything people are grateful for. As Deputy Manager you would lead these sessions when the General Manager is on leave or be on a rota system.
The role is based on-site, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4:30.
You get 20 days holiday a year plus Public Holidays to start with, plus additional days for long service.
Pay will be in the range of £28 to £30,000 p/a depending on experience.

Scope are looking for a personable Online Community Coordinator to join our Online Community Team.
You will work on our online community and help make it a safe and supportive place where disabled people can make friends and talk about what is important to them.
Permanent, part time, 28 hours a week (some evenings and weekends required).
The hours for this role will be worked according to a rolling shift pattern between 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 6pm Saturdays and Sundays.
Location: Scope's office bases are London office (Here East, E15 2GW) or Scope's Leeds office (LS1 5SH) but the role will involve working remotely for most of the time.

The role
You will work within a team to moderate, create and coordinate content, information, newsletters and manage volunteers.
You will form a key part of the wider online community team by:
- Moderating discussions
- Welcoming, engaging and supporting members
- Signposting members to useful resources
- Sourcing and creating new conversations and content
- Recruiting, training, managing and supporting volunteers
- Escalating safeguarding concerns
After your training period, you will be able to work confidently and independently on our online community in all aspects of the role.

This is an exciting new role to develop a peer support group for people recently diagnosed with dementia and their family carers and to co produce a programme of activities so that they can continue to engage in stimulating activities in the community.
This role has been developed as a response to consultation on what people in Newham living with dementia want in order to live well with the disease. The successful candidate will be working with a small team of communitiy dementia support colleagues.
