About this key role
Working as part of a larger Trainer and Assessor team, our successful candidate will work with allocated learners to produce realistic assessment plans, assessing learners using a range of assessment methods appropriate for the vocational qualification assessment criteria, and provide vital one-to-one support to learners as appropriate, ensuring you monitor their progress towards timely completion and certification.
We will also rely on you to liaise and work in co-operation with the Trust’s internal quality assurers to ensure compliance with standards, to attend and participate in internal and external meetings, best practice seminars and continuous professional development opportunities, plus undertake the administration necessary for tracking learner progress. Working constructively with colleagues to achieve project targets and responding to requests for information are also both important elements of this role, as is supporting local community projects with advertising, recruiting, and facilitating Release on Temporary Licence (ROTLS).
What we are looking for
- Experience of working to targets and recording information to enable effective performance monitoring
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (or equivalent assessor certification)
- Sound understanding of the issues faced by project participants in accessing and sustaining training or employment and how these can be overcome

The person

The Role
As a Senior Triage Officer - Children and Young people’s Service, you will be:
- Managing a team delivering initial telephone-based support and an effective triage service to those affected by crime

- Act as the first point of contact for clients referred in to the service, ensuring that comprehensive impact and risks assessments are completed and a tailored response to each client’s needs is provided.

We are looking for a Trust Fundraiser for a well known national health charity, to work in a supportive team of five and secure income from medium-sized grant-giving charitable trusts and foundations.

The Role
Support the Head Of Trust, Senior Trusts Officer and Executive to deliver c£1m team income target.

Research new trust supporters, build a warm pipeline and submit well written trust proposals to funders for applications c £10-30k value. Targeted income for this role is c£100k.

Maintain accurate, up to date and comprehensive records of trusts on the fundraising database or CRM system (currently Raisers Edge).

Experience of securing gifts of over 10k from trusts.
Experience of maintaining relationships with funders and providing tailored donor care and stewardship plans.
Experience of project-based fundraising and the development of restricted and unrestricted propositions within a fundraising team.
Experience of developing pipelines of trust income and activity.

Carolyn House Service provides housing and support to individuals experiencing mental health issues for up to two years. We promote social inclusion and develop life skills for independent living. We also work with several agencies and organisations in the local area to meet individual customers' needs. We support customers to build confidence in order to empower them to use community resources; we promote healthy lifestyles and wellbeing and offer customers choice and control over the activities they would like to participate in.
The service is staffed 24 hours 7 days a week. All customers referred to the Service are allocated a support worker who will provide guidance and support on a range of issues and help signpost customers to relevant services located in the Redbridge Borough.
The Post holder will be expected to work on a rota basis (Monday - Sunday) and two sleep-ins per week which attracts £30.00 extra pay.The shift patterns are 8.00 am - 4.00pm, 2.00 pm - 10.00 pm and sleep ins.
This role requires a valid Right to Work for the UK as Look Ahead are not a sponsoring organisation.
What you'll do:
Build supportive, trusting relationships with customers and creating a positive atmosphere
Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Contract Manager
Provide customer medication support and ensuring that medication procedures are followed
Conduct regular key work sessions that are innovative and engaging in order to achieve Support Plan goals
Ensure ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers within an attitude of 'positive risk taking'
Provide support with daily living activities, as well as practical assistance to support customers to independent living e.g. budgeting, cooking, community activities
Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support and actions.
Create support/action plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available
Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation

Context of Role:
Our Head of Young People's Services is a critical, strategic and operational role within Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zone. As a supporting member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will work closely with the Director of Operations, CEO and the Director of Finance to ensure the charity delivers its vision and strategic objectives. This includes strategies for sustaining and overseeing the ongoing transformation of Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zones' operational business plan and its operational processes and infrastructure. CDAS (Stoke on Trent Community Drug and Alcohol Service) is a new, all age service supporting individuals, their families and communities. Our busy team currently helps around 1500 people at any one time and we want to help even more by transforming our service to deliver from multiple venues and make more effective use of the resources we have.
You will lead on and be responsible for the provision of clinical care in our service, ensuring that our standards of care allow clients to achieve their recovery goals. A dynamic leader, you will guide and support clinical staff working within the service, working hand in hand with the service manager to foster a continuous improvement mindset and ensuring that evidence based best clinical practice is delivered in line with national, organisational and local standards.Working in co-production with operational managers, you will lead the continuous development and governance of high quality, effective and safe services within the budget and the contract. You will also lead on building service accessibility and trauma informed care by delivery of culturally sensitive, safe clinical services that people trust and want to use.

We’re looking for substantial experience working within the substance misuse arena, as well as experience working in a supervisory role within a multidisciplinary team. You will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills and able to manage your time effectively. Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey has been established for over 100 years and is the major provider of services for people who are Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted, and deafblind in Surrey.
