*Experience and knowledge of working to improve health programme effectiveness and efficiency in Africa, Asia or Latin America
*Previous experience working with programme teams in a challenging country and multicultural environment
*Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills
*Good political and cultural awareness and sensitivity to the local context
*Knowledge and understanding of the role of volunteerism in development, including previous volunteering experience
