Job Title: Programme Manager
Salary: £34,000 per annum, 35 hours per week
Length of Contract: 12 months, with the possibility of extension
Pension Payment: CommUNITY Barnet will make a pension contribution into a workplace pension scheme
Annual Leave: 28 days per annum, excluding bank holidays 
Location: Initially homeworking.  Once covid related restrictions are removed, the postholder will be expected to work in Wormholt & White City (Hammersmith & Fulham) for at least 3 days a week.

Big Local is an exciting opportunity for residents in 150 areas in the UK to use at least £1m of national lottery money over a 10-year period to make a lasting and measurable difference to their communities.

We are seeking to appoint a Programme Manager who will work independently and in partnership to oversee the delivery of W12Together’s community plan.  The ideal candidate will be inspired by enabling local communities to change their area, eager to help marginalised voices have a say in how their community is run, and be ready to communicate this enthusiasm and excitement to others.

As Programme Manager you will be W12Together’s lead worker, ensuring timely and effective implementation of a portfolio of projects, building strategic partnerships and the line management of the W12Together staff team.  Over the next months we are also seeking to bring in additional sources of funding to support our priority areas - Youth, Health and Wellbeing and Coming Together.

We are looking to appoint a confident self-starter with experience of project management, in
relevant community development work.  Knowledge and experience in fundraising is also essential as W12Together continues to grow and develop. 

W12Together is one of 150 Big Local resident-led Partnerships around England that is providing an opportunity for local residents to use the £1m that has been allocated to make a massive and lasting positive difference to their communities. They are a Partnership of local residents, bringing together all the local talent, ambitions, skills and energy from individuals, groups and organisation who want to make their area an even better place to live.
