Salary: £40-45k depending on experience

Wac Arts, the performing arts charity, is seeking a Head of Development, a newly created role to lead income-generation from philanthropic sources for the charity.

Wac Arts believe in in the infinite power of the arts to unleash the extraordinary potential of young people, offering inclusive performing arts and media programmes for young people aged 5-26.

The new role will manage key relationships to generate a sustainable income stream to facilitate the charity’s expansion and innovation.  It will also make a key contribution to communications, events, and networking to enable the charity to raise its profile and awareness of its important work.

The Head of Development will lead, manage, and inspire colleagues to work with the Development team to continue the diversification and growth of our income streams. This is an opportunity to build on the success the charity has enjoyed with Lottery bodies, Trusts and Foundations and a group of committed individual donors to expand fundraising from alumni, corporates, our wider community and through digital activities.

Wac Arts are seeking a motivated self-starter and team player with excellent communication, relationship-building, storytelling, negotiating and analytical skills.
