The role

What is the role?
This is a Fixed Term Contract until the 31st of March 2025.
Working within our values and behavioural framework, the role involves closely managing the relationships of our partner organisations (known as Licensed Organisations – LOs) and ensuring those within your portfolio offer quality and inclusive DofE programmes to young people.
While managing these relationships, across your portfolio area you will also identify and develop new relationships with appropriate educational and community organisations to widen the access of the DofE to young people, particularly those who experience marginalisation.
You will be undertaking regular meetings, in person and virtually, engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders at different levels within different organisations across your portfolio area. When not out at meetings, you will be working from home.
Whilst you won’t be working directly with young people, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are having a positive impact on their future opportunities.
What are we looking for?

About the role

· 1. Prepare and execute a project plan that establishes a clear process of review, rationalisation, publication, and promotion of revised and new parent content.
· 2. Refresh our governance framework, ways of working and processes that involve key stakeholders across NCT. This includes establishing external expert groups, advisers and partners, including parents.

Ar hyn o bryd, ni yw’r 4edd Elusen Orau i weithio iddi a’r 16eg Cwmni Gorau Maint Canol yn y DU yn ôl meini prawf y Cwmnïau Gorau, ac mae canlyniadau ein harolwg wedi dangos lefelau ymgysylltu “rhagorol” ymysg staff dros y blynyddoedd diwethaf.
Fel Ymarferydd Ymgysylltu a Gweithgareddau gyda TACT Cymru, byddwch yn rhan o’n tîm anhygoel o weithwyr proffesiynol sy’n gweithio gyda gwerthoedd ein sefydliad wrth galon eu hymarfer bob dydd. Gallwch adolygu ein gwerthoedd yma.
Bydd Dyletswyddau Cyffredinol yr Ymarferydd Ymgysylltu a Gweithgareddau yn cynnwys:
- Bod yn bwynt cyswllt hygyrch i’r plant sy’n byw gyda’n gofalwyr ac i’n pobl ifanc, gan roi’r wybodaeth ddiweddaraf iddyn nhw am y cyfleusterau a’r cyfleoedd sydd ar gael gyda TACT.
- Cefnogi ymyriadau a gweithgareddau i sicrhau trefniadau lleoliadau sefydlog.
- Gallu cludo plant a phobl ifanc i ddigwyddiadau, apwyntiadau a chyfarfodydd (ad-delir costau teithio).
- Trefnu a chymryd rhan mewn digwyddiadau rhithiol ac wyneb yn wyneb a chyfarfodydd preswyl achlysurol.
- Rheoli’r holl waith papur sy’n gysylltiedig â digwyddiadau a gweithgareddau.
- Parodrwydd i weithio’n hyblyg, yn unol â dyddiadau cau ac anghenion ein teuluoedd.
- Ymgymryd â gwaith uniongyrchol sy’n seiliedig ar drawma gyda phlant a phobl ifanc.
- Cysylltu â’n tîm Gweithwyr Cymdeithasol sy’n Goruchwylio.
Mae TACT yn cynnig pecyn buddion gwych i weithwyr, gan gynnwys:
- 31 diwrnod o wyliau â thâl (yn ogystal â gwyliau banc). (pro rata am 3 diwrnod yr wythnos).
- Trefniadau gweithio hyblyg (gan gynnwys oriau cywasgedig, hyblygrwydd o ran oriau craidd, polisi diwrnodau gwirfoddoli).
- Polisïau ystyriol o deuluoedd.
- ‘Bwndel’ gweithio gartref, gan gynnwys lwfans blynyddol o £750, offer TG a benthyciad ar gyfer sefydlu swyddfa gartref.
- Cynllun pensiwn cyfranddeiliaid (aberthu cyflog) ac yswiriant bywyd o’r diwrnod cyntaf.
- Rhaglen Cymorth i Weithwyr (gan gynnwys cwnsela Therapi Gwybyddol Ymddygiadol am ddim, apwyntiadau Meddygon Teulu o bell, ffisiotherapi, cymorth iechyd meddwl, ac ail farn).
- Cyfleoedd dysgu a datblygu gwych
Bydd gofyn i’r ymgeisydd llwyddiannus fynychu cyfarfodydd wyneb yn wyneb rheolaidd bob chwarter o leiaf yn ne Cymru a mynychu cyfarfodydd wyneb yn wyneb eraill fel digwyddiadau hyfforddiant a digwyddiadau llesiant tîm, yn ogystal â chwrdd â phlant a phobl ifanc wyneb yn wyneb o amgylch rhanbarth gogledd Cymru a gogledd Powys.
Mae angen archwiliad manwl gan y Gwasanaeth Datgelu a Gwahardd ar gyfer y rôl hon, a bydd yn cael ei brosesu gan TACT ar eich rhan.

Contract – Fixed term 12 months initially
Location – Home-based with travel required to visit foster families located across the North Wales areas; including Flintshire, Wrexham, Denbighshire, Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey. Travel also requires the postholder to attend staff meetings and team away days.

As a Fostering Senior Supervising Social Worker with TACT Cymru, you will be a part of our amazing team of professionals working with our organisational values at the heart of their everyday practice.
In addition to the annual salary, the Senior Supervising Social Worker role attracts Out of Hours Allowance of £1,500 per annum once participating in the rota.
The main role requirements for this role include:
- An appropriate social work qualification
- Up-to-date registration with Social Care Wales
- A minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience in fostering/family placements or other childcare settings
- Experience in supporting and supervising 10-12 foster families to meet the complex needs of the looked-after young people
- A proven track record in working with and on behalf of children, respecting and maintaining their individuality, and promoting their positive development.
- Experience in group work and/or delivery of training.
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation including the Fostering Services (Wales) regulations.
- Experience of working with/supporting looked after children and their foster carers.
- Ability to prioritise, plan and self-organise efficiently.
- Capable of using electronic records systems and IT effectively, including participating in virtual meetings and webinars
