This is a new role for the Circuit, replacing a volunteer. In designing the position, the Circuit has aimed for maximum flexibility to secure the best candidate for the role. Initially, the person will need physically to attend some meetings to familiarise themselves with the Circuit's operations and ensure a smooth hand-over. For the right person, though, there will be considerable flexibility about how the duties are fulfilled in the longer-term. It is specifically expected that the role will allow for flexible scheduling to accommodate other responsibilities, including caring.
The Richmond & Hounslow Circuit comprises seven churches in southwest London. As with all Methodist circuits, these churches function autonomously yet collaborate closely in their ministry and mission efforts. The Circuit oversees joint resources, including staff and property. Presently, it employs four full-time ordained ministers, one full-time lay pastor, and a part-time administrator. As a part of the Methodist Church, its mission is “to respond to the gospel of God’s love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission”. To fulfil this mission, the Circuit fosters a broad spectrum of ministry within its congregations, focusing on worship but also engaging in outreach to the homeless, asylum seekers, new parents, and various other groups. Administration and Systems Manager

We are looking for an experienced Administration and Systems Manager to join our enthusiastic and friendly Operations team. Help Counselling is a small Mental Health charity providing one-to-one counselling, both in person and online to adults over 18. We are also a well-established clinical training placement provider for trainee counsellors and psychotherapists studying with prestigious training organisations in London.
About Help
Help Counselling is well-established Mental Health Charity with a heritage of over 50 years. We provide training placements for clinical supervisors, counsellors and psychotherapists who need to gain clinical experience to qualify (or further qualify) and be registered with one of the industry professional bodies such as, BACP or UKCP. For ethical reasons, the work trainee counsellors / psychotherapists do is unpaid, i.e., they must volunteer their time.
This volunteer model enables Help to fulfil its charitable aim of providing low-cost counselling services. It can take between 3-5 years to qualify, and our training placements are for minimum of 12 months meaning we can also provide clients with long-term help. Having consistence and continuity plays a pivotal role in building a safe, therapeutic, and trusting alliance between the counsellor and client.
The blend of low-cost and long-term talking therapy is much needed in a time of increasing demand for mental health support and increasing complexity of presenting issues.
About the job
The purpose of this role is to manage the daily administrative operations and a small administration team of 2 people. The objective being to ensure that we meet our monthly targets, are compliant with the requirements of BACP, run efficiently and deal with exceptions in a timely, ethical, and effective manner.
Currently our client volumes are between 250-350, we have approximately 90 counsellors and clinical team of approximately 20.
We operate a number of cloud-based IT systems and have outsourced HR and Finance functions.
Key responsibilities
Team management
Directing the team to make sure work is scheduled, fully completed and managed efficiently.

Systems management.
Managing the impacts and interactions between processes and systems which can be complex and far reaching.

Information review, reporting and continuous improvement.
Create, review and report on operational data and use this information to solve potential problems or strengthen business performance.

Stakeholder management
Provide a point of escalation and decision-making for queries arising from clients, counsellors, supervisors, training organisations and other stakeholders.

The Candidate
Education & experience: 5-6 years’ administrative, operations, customer service and supervisory experience, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector.
Skills:

Planning, critical thinking, problem solving, and task and time management skills.
· Interpersonal, line management, coaching, and verbal and written communication skills.
· Technical expert on MS Office suite and hands-on experience of CRM and / or clinical management system.

Role Profile
This role is based within our team in the East of England. As a Support Worker, you will provide exceptional housing support services and housing management services to a diverse range of service user including those on Bail, prison leavers, and those going through the criminal justice system. The Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (Rape Crisis South London) is looking for a committed, professional and skilled Helpline Support worker to provide high quality emotional support, information and signposting in our Support Line team.
The 24/7 Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Line is a partnership between Rape Crisis England and Wales, the Rape and Sexual Abuse support Centre (RASASC - Rape Crisis South London) and two other Rape Crisis Centres (ARCH Teesside and Lincolnshire Rape Crisis). The post-holder for this role is employed by RASASC (Rape Crisis South London).
The post-holder will provide emotional support, information and signposting to survivors of any form of sexual violence, of any gender, aged 16 and upwards, and their supporters via phone calls and chats. Helpline Support Workers also provide support to colleagues and volunteers as part of their daily duties. Helpline Support workers have experience of either providing emotional support on a telephone helpline or experience providing support to survivors of sexual violence. Who we are looking for?
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has experience of working in the social housing sector and would like a new challenge. You should have Knowledge of Housing Law in relation to housing management and understand Welfare Benefits, especially Housing Benefit and the current climate of how supported housing is funded via Housing Benefit and the scrutiny around evidence of the support offer.
You will be the main lead for housing management in your patch. Experience of managing income recovery, neighbour nuisance/conflict and estate management is essential, ideally this has been within a supported housing context.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Income Recovery
- Monitoring of all Nacro rent accounts both current and former arrears and credit accounts in patch.
- Taking direct action where arrears are accruing in line with Nacro’s Income Collection and Debt Management Policy and liaising with Support or Housing Management Worker when their support is needed.
- Engaging with HB to ensure correct levels of HB are in payment for the right dates and at the correct level, liaising with Nacro Welfare Benefit Advisor for any complex cases.
Legal Duties
- Preparing documentation, including notices, witness statements and court documents for any enforcement or to end a tenancy.
- Representing Nacro at court.
Income recovery you will be responsible for recovery of accommodation charges from beginning to the end of the process.
Tenancy Support
- You will ensure the Association’s conditions of tenancy and licences are enforced.
- You will provide training and induction support to new starters, so they understand their role around housing management and tenancy creation including dual visits to provide additional training where issues are highlighted, or new staff need it.
- Supporting and advising on less complex anti-social behaviour to promote prevention and early intervention, and the correct recording and monitoring of cases.
Estate Management/Property Standards
- Though the Occupancy Sustainment Programme (or similar) deliver training to local teams’ duties on property standards including documentation and recording in systems, to include reporting a repair, completing monthly fire and health and safety checks and support they need to provide around gas compliance.
Support the team through training to help workers know how to access our policies and procedures around property standards including knowing how to report and escalate issues.
A full driving license and access to a car for business use is essential for this role.

Our Adults Advocacy service offers non-statutory, single-issue, instructed advocacy for adults with a confirmed diagnosis of M.E. We encourage self-advocacy where possible, though many of our clients are too severely affected by M.E. to be able to take undertake this.
As an Adults Advocate, you will manage a caseload of clients, as well as inputting and contributing to the triage process along with your Advocacy colleagues. Overall Duties of the Senior Supervising Social Worker will include:

Overall Duties of the role will include:
- Being an accessible point of contact for the children living with our carers and to our young people, keeping them up to date with the facilities and opportunities available with TACT
- Providing support to children with emotional welfare and mental health needs
