Communications Officer

c£30,000 per annum

Full-time, 35 hours per week

Based at our offices in Trident Business Centre, Bickersteth Road, Tooting, you will be an experienced, enthusiastic and creative Communications Officer able to take a lead role in developing and coordinating communications across WCA and its projects.  This is a new role - you will be joining WCA at an exciting time as it develops its new Voluntary Sector Coordination Project in which communications will be key, together with the equally important task of promoting our existing work with Healthwatch Wandsworth, Voicing Views, LGBT Mental Health and any other WCA projects. 

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding communicator able to work on their own initiative but within clear priorities and workplans.  The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong track record in communications, ideally in the voluntary and community or health and care sectors and be able to manage a diverse workload and deliver within set timescales and deadlines.  You will join an enthusiastic and committed team, keen to help you build and develop this role.

WCA offers a range of support to the voluntary sector in Wandsworth, together with a commitment to ensuring the service user perspective is heard in the planning and designing of health and care services through Healthwatch Wandsworth and our mental health and other projects.

Salary will be c£30,000
