This role includes 1:1 work with clients, developing support plans and facilitating support groups. The post holder will also develop referral pathways to the service through outreach to external organisations.
You will have outstanding organisational and communication skills, be able to manage conflicting demands with tight deadlines, and be a key team player. You will have knowledge and experience of the issues as they relate to Carers, particularly in relation to substance misuse, learning disabilities and/ or autism.
You will have excellent IT skills, and be experienced in report writing. In addition you will have experience of project development and delivery of frontline services.
Wandsworth Carers’ Centre is a well-established Carers support service in Wandsworth since 1995. We provide a range of services to unpaid Carers including, Information, Advice and Advocacy, Peer Support, Training, Counselling and Complementary Therapies. Our work is supported by volunteers.
