Job description

War on Want works to challenge the root causes of poverty, inequality and injustice through partnership with social movements in the South and by running hard-hitting campaigns in the UK in support of radical change. 

You would be joining a small, engaged and committed Senior Management Team with an Executive Director who is a confident public speaker and good at maintaining donor relationships.  You would be managing a talented team of 6 people.

Every member of the War on Want team is proud of the difference the charity (and our partners) make to people across the globe. Each of us appreciates the importance of fundraising but both our SMT and Council of Management (our Trustees) lack specific expertise in this field.

We are hoping to find a Director of Income and Engagement(s) who can help move us in the right direction whilst maintaining our values and principles.
