The WaterAid Corporate Partnerships team which is responsible for developing and implementing high value and high impact shared value strategic partnerships.

As our energised and motivated Private Sector Advisor you will help to develop transformative shared value partnerships and support the development of a sectoral approach for working with multi-national and large national companies.

The role is full time and fixed term for 1 year. There is flexibility on working arrangements and some limited UK &/ or overseas travel may be required if travel begins to open up in 2022.

In this role, you will serve as an expert private sector focal point and a primary function of your role will be developing sectoral approaches for working with multinational and large national companies.

You'll also:
* Develop sector strategies based upon insight
* Work collaboratively with different departments on Private Sector Engagement and build and co-develop approaches across federation members
* Develop tools and resources to build capacity and communicate the Private Sector Engagement approach

To be successful, you'll need:
* Experience from working with the private sector on the sustainability agenda
* Proven experience from working with some, or all, of named sectors - apparel, FMCG, financial services.
* Proven ability to analyse data, package results and compile outcomes in a practical and compelling way to communicate desired outcomes effectively.

Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 (subject to experience) with excellent benefits

Additional Information:

WaterAid is currently located at Canary Wharf, London and this will be your location and contract base. Due to current restrictions on office capacity the majority of our staff are working from home. All aspects of this including how we are supporting homeworking and the office transition will be discussed at the interview stage with you.
