Job description

Watford Womens Centre is looking for an experienced and capable volunteer co-ordinator to help us deliver a pioneering project called MyAlly.  Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund for 3 years, this project will offer victims and survivors of domestic abuse access to a phone-based helpline run by volunteers and trauma informed peer to peer support groups.

The volunteer co-Ordinator will support the project manager to deliver all outcomes detailed in the grant agreement in relation to the recruitment training and support of telephone helpline volunteers. You will ensure that the volunteer selection process is rigorous and that the telephone service provided is of the highest quality. You will be required to develop and disseminate policies, procedures and induction materials and to work closely with service leads to create seamless referral pathways for MyAlly clients.
