Liverpool is looking for an Independent Prescriber to work on a fixed term contract until March 2023 full time. You must be a motivated and enthusiastic Independent Prescriber to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team providing clinical interventions to clients with substance misuse issues within the city of Liverpool.
You will provide assessment and ongoing management of substitute prescribing for service users in a community setting. We have offices in Henry Street Liverpool city centre, Croxteth and Garston.
About the role
For this role you will need to be either a registered nurse with a minimum of two years post registration experience and a prescribing qualification, or a registered Pharmacist with a minimum of two years post registration experience and a prescribing qualification. Experience of delivering interventions in a substance misuse setting would be an advantage.
You will be committed to working within the voluntary sector, in line with our values and will relish the challenges of contributing to the development of a service and delivering high quality clinical care.
We will provide an induction period to support you in the initial stages followed by a program of meaningful supervision and CPD.

This is a fixed term contract until March 2023, 37.5 hours per week.
