- Stoke-on-Trent Community Drug and Alcohol Service offers support to adults and young people who are concerned about their drug and alcohol use.
Our Stoke Community Drug and Alcohol service is looking for an individual to join our team. The role will be a Recovery Worker with a lead on families within our service. This includes a caseload of pre and post natal clients, clients with safeguarding contact, working within our partnership agencies including the local hospital and regular communication with partner agencies including Social care and Specialist Midwives.
Ideally you will have experience of working in a health social care/substance misuse setting. Safeguarding experience and working with families is preferable. We are looking for positive and motivated candidates who are able to communicate with a wide range of people and in different settings. You will also be results driven, highly organised with excellent time management skills.
This job is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an enhanced level with Barred List(s).
This is a permanent full time position for 37.5 hours per week.
